Invitation Elegance®  holds the federal trademark for “Invitation Elegance.”  According to the United States Patent and Trademark office and the Lanham (Trademark) Act (title 15, chapter 22 of the United States Code),  trademarks are protected by the federal statutes of trademark law in the United States. This Act prohibits a number of activities, including trademark infringement. This means that if a party owns the rights to a particular trademark, that party can sue subsequent parties for trademark infringement.  The standard is “likelihood of confusion” which means if a company or individual uses a similar name or trademark that is likely to cause consumer confusion for the source of goods or products, that party can be sued for trademark infringement.   This includes the use of an identical mark, a similar mark, business name or URL for sale of the same or similar products.

Invitation Elegance will pursue legal action in cases of trademark infringement.
